"i" set off creating AURiX: SWEET in order to make money — thought there was some genius in it and perhaps a market for it. As i was learning to build, i stumbled onto much bigger and, in my mind, more important things — and they already exist across the suite of products i've built. i benefit twice over: from knowing it helps people, and from what that shows — that my work is functional, serious, and strictly cohesive with my ethos. It is free so that everyone, myself included, profits. If it weren't, i wouldn't be me; it wouldn't be AURiX.

Why this is not surveillance
The same mechanisms that expose dark patterns could be used to shame, score, or punish. The property that prevents that is the compassion constraint: AURiX surfaces without shaming; the affordance is return, not punishment. Every feature is tested against it.
Silence as design. Shape, not score. The artifact is the mechanism, not the verdict. The invariants protect honesty. The compassion constraint protects agency. Both must hold.
